Basketball Court Pasay — November 5, 2025
The opening night was hot — but the first round of the Juan 365 Sports Festival 2025 Basketball Elims was even hotter!
From start to finish, it didn’t feel like an office league at all. Every team played with pride, strategy, and solid teamwork. With drumbeats echoing, fans cheering, and players giving their all, it felt like championship vibes right from game one.
Game 1 — MKTG Marketing vs Conversion Kings
From the very first tip-off, it felt like a David vs. Goliath matchup — with Team MKTG Marketing towering as the powerhouse and the Conversion Kings stepping onto the court with courage and heart.
MKTG came out strong, playing like a well-oiled machine — sharp ball movement, quick transitions, and a defense that barely left room to breathe. They built an early lead, showing the poise and precision of a seasoned squad.
But the Conversion Kings didn’t back down. Despite facing a bigger, more dominant opponent, they fought with heart and hustle. Every possession was a battle, every shot an act of defiance. They countered MKTG’s power with teamwork, spacing, and gutsy three-point attempts — proving that even if the odds were stacked against them, they were never out of the fight.
MKTG’s #3 once again delivered a standout performance — calm yet deadly, finishing with 14 points, 1 rebound, 1 assist, and 1 steal. Every time the Kings started to close in, he answered with crucial baskets that kept the Marketing lead intact.
The crowd was on fire — half chanting “Let’s go, MKTG!” while the other half rallied behind “Let’s go, Conversion!” cheering their underdogs to keep pushing until the final buzzer.
In the end, MKTG Marketing took the win with a 57–41 finish — a strong statement to start their campaign. But for the Conversion Kings, the night was more than just a loss on the scoreboard. They may not have converted points this round, but they converted hearts — showing the kind of dedication, compassion, and fighting spirit that defines what the Juan 365 Sports Festival is all about.
Game 2 — CSR vs PAU Rangers (HR/Admin)
If we’re talking intensity — this was the game with no breaks and no slowing down.
From the jump, it was neck and neck. Both teams were aggressive, both hungry for that first win. The crowd roared at every drive, foul, and buzzer sound — no one could sit still.
CSR’s defense was sharp, with their frontline hustling for rebounds and second chances. But the PAU Rangers showed veteran-like composure — controlling the tempo, passing smartly, and reading the defense perfectly.
CSR briefly took the lead in the third quarter with back-to-back shots, but the Rangers quickly turned it around. PAU’s #8 took over late in the game — finishing with 17 points, 7 assists, and 4 rebounds. He orchestrated plays, kept his team’s rhythm, and exploded in the fourth quarter to seal the win.
In the final two minutes, PAU hit consecutive baskets that locked in the victory. The crowd went wild!
Final score: 51–45, with the HR/Admin section waving flags and banners in celebration.
An instant classic for the Juan 365 Sports Festival 2025 Basketball Elims!
Game 3 — Risk Control vs Prophets Telemarketing
It may have been the last game of the night, but the energy was still sky-high. Even past 10PM, the court was packed, and the cheers only got louder.
The Prophets Telemarketing squad came out swinging — and proved they weren’t just great at calls, but also at calling plays. Their offense was lightning-fast, their hustle relentless, and every turnover became a fast-break opportunity.
Risk Control tried to slow down the pace, but the Prophets’ momentum was unstoppable.
#20 of Prophets Telemarketing was on fire — scoring 13 points in just 20 minutes, all clean, efficient shots. His scoring surge broke the game wide open in the second half.
By the final buzzer, the Prophets bench was on their feet — cheering, jumping, laughing like they’d just won a title.
Final score: 66–45, a clean, confident win for Prophets Telemarketing — starting their campaign with a 1–0 record.
